December in the Netherlands! The month of celebration, low temperatures, snow, and…. my birthday. Time to flee!

The TODI puffers are naughty today

In preparation for our next diving vacation to Egypt (we’re almost there!) we decided to visit… TODI! Surprise surprise πŸ˜‰

Last time we were there the puffers were still anxious. How would you feel if you’ve just been splashed into a 30m wide 10m deep tank with thousands of unknown roommates? We figured they had some time to settle in so they would be less scared. Moderately soon they swam to us and decided to try a bit of GoPro taste.

Welcome in TODI, puffers!

Earlier this week TODI added some puffer fish to their – already huge – collection of fish! So… we decided to pay them a visit. They’re a bit quicker than their cousins in Egypt, so itΒ was quite a challenge to capture them.. but YAY, I managed to do it!

Cichlid time in TODI, Belgium

When we’re not diving in warm water and the Dutch waters are too cold for a wetsuit, we love to go diving in the indoor diving center TODI in Beringen, Belgium. It’s an ideal place to practice skills and make some great fish face portraits.
